What made you want to become an event planner?

I guess it all started back in High School. From throwing friends birthday parties and holiday parties. And not just a simple house party would do. I had to find the best locations with the best menus and of course best entertainment available. It just seemed to escalate from there. I had the opportunity to plan weddings, anniversaries and mile stone Birthday Parties. I then met my husband who is Italian and we all know that with Italians it is "go big or go home" I couldn't have asked for a better opportunity to spread my wings. I planned my own wedding from the very beginning to the end. I loved every minute of it. I also knew the struggles that I would endure, while doing so and my own experiences during the process, I realized that there was nothing in this world I would rather be doing. I understand the stress, the emotions and the importance of every detail that a bride (and groom of course) needs fulfilled on this very special day and I would absolutely like nothing more than to be a part of it with them.

What's your favorite part about working with clients?

Absolutely the relationships that you create with the client. You hopefully walk away with a new found friendship of some sort with these clients that I have been given the honor of being a part of their wedding or event.

With clients planning weddings, I get to watch and embrace their beginning. I get to witness their most precious and intimate moments and they allow me to be a part of it. The celebration of love is priceless and when a person(s) allows you the opportunity to create something for them that reflects them to represent them on that very special day....words can not describe.

What is your design style?

Vintage with a modern twist is my absolute favorite style. However, I may have a favorite but that does not dictate where my imagination or visions may take me. I believe that there are so many endless possibilities to what you can create from another design style that I could not be committed to just my favorite design style.

One of the best quotes that I love to incorporate for my design style is "Simplicity is elegance in itself" I like to make the most of the canvas with clean cut lines and execution to its full potential. Taking something simple and transforming it into pure elegance with colors and textures.

What do you like to do for fun?

I love entertaining/cooking for friends and family. Traveling is something that my husband and I love to do and when given the opportunity we take it. Favorite place hands down is Italy. I love dining out at new and old restaurants. Have a hurtful love for food.  There is nothing like a good ladies night out with the girls.Shopping is always great fun for both fashion and home decor.
